Bob Deitrick is the principal owner of Polaris Financial Partners. He is an author and contributes as a primary source to Forbes also. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Finance and Economics. He has been a financial planning professional for 31 years having started his career with CIGNA Financial Services which later became Lincoln Financial Group.
Bob created his own independent branch in 2003. Bob has had numerous television appearances regionally and nationally including Fox Business News, MSNBC, ONN, WCMH and WBNS discussing various financial topics including the stock market, financial planning as well as his book. Bob was an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University, and was co-founder of the Foundation for Excellence in Financial Planning at Ohio State. He has created several pilot classes in high schools in financial literacy in Columbus as well.
Bob is co-author of the book “Bulls, Bears and the Ballot Box” published in 2012. Bob has had dozens of radio, print and television interviews for his book including interviews on FOX Business, NewsMax and MSNBC. Bob holds Finra licenses 6, 7, 22 and 63. He is a father of three beautiful children — Mitchell, Mallory and Meredith — as well as an avid skier and licensed PADI diver.
